Pianist Ilja Moston plays for Sweetwater Camera Club Reception at the Douglasville GA Cultural Arts Center
by Richard Nichols

On Wednesday and Thursday, October 1st and 2nd, 2008, pianist Ilja (ALIEN) Moston performed his original music on the newly restored Chickering grand piano at the Cultural Arts Center in Douglasville, Georgia. Many of those in attendance paused to enjoy Ilja’s complex undulating meandering rhythms which provided an excellent mood for those enjoying the photographs of Sweetwater Camera Club members. The current exhibit is entitled "Harper Lee’s South." For more information on this exhibit, please visit the CAC and Sweetwater Camera Club websites.

You may listen to 4 of Ilja’s original songs on his My Space page. Mr. Moston also plays 5 more of his extraterrestrial compositions on his "Alien" My Space page where his byline is "Music not from this world." He lists his services as: "Piano performance, classic and jazz harmony, jazz arrangements, and jazz improvisation."

Ilja mentions that he is "a non-singing piano/keyboardist, arranger and composer from Lithuania, currently residing in Hiram, GA." Ilja Moston is available to play for weddings, receptions and other important events in the Atlanta Metro Area and beyond. He also teaches the piano to aspiring musicians! Ilja can be reached at 770-845-5834.
